LDS with Questions

If You’re Asking Questions, You’re Not Alone

Many faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reach a point where something doesn’t quite add up. It may begin with a historical question, a doctrinal concern, or a quiet sense that something you’ve always believed deserves a closer look.

For some, the questions are small at first. For others, they arrive all at once. Either way, it can feel confusing—and even frightening—to wonder whether what you’ve trusted is as solid as you were taught.

If you’re here because you’re beginning to ask those questions, you are not alone. Others have walked this path before you and found clarity, peace, and a deeper understanding of who Jesus is and what He offers.

Where Would You Like to Begin?

You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin exploring these questions. Feel free to start wherever you’re most curious—or concerned—and take your time.

Not sure where to start?

If you’re wondering whether LDS beliefs about God and Jesus match what the Bible teaches, you might begin with “Understanding the Nature of God” or “Who Is Jesus in LDS Teaching vs. the Bible?”
If your questions are more about authority, prophets, or continuing revelation, you may want to start with “Authority and Revelation.”

As you explore, you may find that some questions naturally lead to others. Take your time, and feel free to return here whenever you’re ready to continue.
